Energy Summer School
The Energy Summer School features a one-week programme of lectures, case studies, poster sessions, excursions and collaborative discussions in Monte Verità, Ascona, Switzerland. Participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between technology, policy, society, and the environment in the context of the energy transition.
The Energy Summer School is jointly organised by the Energy Science Center (ESC) and the Albert Einstein School of Public Policy (the former Institute of Science, Technology and Policy) every two years.
The programme is open to late master’s students, doctoral students, and early postdoctoral researchers from the ETH Domain and other institutions. Special attention is given to accepting a diverse cohort of participants to foster research connections within and outside ETH Zurich and contributing to ETH Zurich's educational reputation.
Two successful editions of the school have already taken place at Monte Verità, Ascona, Switzerland:
