Research

The Energy Science Center (ESC) acts as an enabler for delivering ambitious, impactful, and interdisciplinary energy research programmes that respond to policy and industry needs. The ESC is involved in various research projects, providing research tools and supporting research coordination of major research programmes through its Executive Team.

Together, these efforts reinforce ETH Zurich’s mission to deliver cutting-edge scientific insights and to serve society as a trusted source of expertise.

Publications feature current and previous ESC White Papers and Policy Briefs, as well as scientific publications by ESC members, bringing together current research findings, analyses, and recommendations for academia, policy, and practice.

Moreover, the Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich provides a space to discuss current energy topics.

The Research Center for Energy Networks (Forschungsstelle Energienetze – FEN) is affiliated with the Energy Science Center.
