ESC welcomes Prof. Bjarne Steffen as new member
The Energy Science Center (ESC) is delighted to welcome Prof. Bjarne Steffen as member of the competence center. Bjarne Steffen has recently been appointed as Assistant Professor for Climate Finance and Policy at ETH Zurich.
In his research, Bjarne Steffen focusses on questions related to the financing of new climate protection technologies. He has already published important papers in this field – for example, on the impact of financing costs on the competitiveness of renewable energy technologies. This very innovative researcher, who brings together the fields of public policy and climate finance, was awarded an ERC Starting Grant in 2020.
