Thai Green Parliament Delegation Visits ETH Zurich for Energy Policy Exchange
A high-level delegation from Thailand’s Standing Steering Committee on the Green Parliament visited ETH Zurich on May 5 to explore Switzerland’s climate policy and energy systems.
Organised by the Energy Science Center, the visit brought 19 representatives of the Standing Steering Committee on the Green Parliament to ETH Zurich, including H.E. Mr. Pichet Chuamuangphan, Chairperson of the Committee. The group sought to gain insights into Switzerland’s carbon economy strategy and approaches to building a sustainable, reliable energy system.
ETH Zurich experts, including Professor Lint Barrage, Professor Anthony Patt, Dr. Christian Schaffner, Dr. Gianfranco Guidati and Dr. Claudia Zingerli, shared their research and perspectives on topics ranging from energy economics to climate politics. The visit concluded with a networking coffee and a guided tour of ETH’s historic main building, fostering dialogue and future collaboration.
