Master's students successfully complete Case Studies
In May 2020, the students from the Master's programme Energy Science and Technology successfully completed their interdisciplinary case studies. In seven groups and over two semesters, they worked on real-world problems currently faced by companies within the energy sector.
The challenges related to building a sustainable energy system for the future normally require interdisciplinary teams, thinking and solutions: the case study course covers some of the technical, economic and regulatory aspects of this challenge. The course provides the students with the opportunity to meet industry experts and understand the challenges they are facing, find innovative solutions to relevant real-life problems in the energy sector and get feedback.
In May 2020, all student groups presented their findings in a virtual presentation. For the second year in a row, two groups were honoured by being awarded a peer-to-peer award for best presentation and a teachers' award for best project, respectively.
The Energy Science Center congratulates all students and case study coaches for their dedicated and successful work!
